I miss sleep.
Evidently my clothes also miss the iron.
Many Japanese brands make their clothes in one size, a Japanese M, so there are clever things like stretch fabrics and laces on the skirt to adjust a little either way.I don't often do matchy, but these pieces are really difficult to style with other things in my wardrobe, so I took the easy way.
Zippers in the front and back let you let it out to a fuller skirt or zip down for kick pleats/trousers look.
Yay, my hair is under control today. Go Giovanni volumizer spray.
I hope you all have a smooth and restful week.

I especially like your skirt and your hear looks great ... Hope your week treats you really gently as well!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Lynn. Your comment gave me a smile to start off the week. :D
DeleteLove this whole look! I think they are both great pieces with lots of potential. I really like the mesh on the top and the color. It's rare to find lighter colored edgy pieces in American brands.
ReplyDeleteI never thought of that, but you are so right. I like the brand because of its use of different colors while keeping the tough slightly punk/goth look
DeleteYour choices are really nice, all the way down to your makeup. Reading your blog is like studying with a master.
ReplyDeleteAlly, your unguardedly sweet and thoughtful comments always jump out of the page and make me so glad.
DeleteOh, that is a fabulous outfit! I adore both pieces.
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing jacket and skirt, they almost look Victorian to me, only edged-up modern Victorian, the kind Alexander McQueen loved! Count me in, I love it too. XO, Jill
ReplyDeleteWhat an fantastic idea to have one size that is adjustable in a unique way! I would love to be able to find these brands!!! Are they available online? And that design on the side... so "tatto-ish" and cool. Absolutely amazing... and just downright funky.

Oh how gauche of me. I completely forgot to list clothing sources in this post. Thank you for the reminder!
DeleteThe brand is OzzOn Japan. They do have a website here: http://www.ozzon-japan.com/
I am afraid they only ship within Japan right now. The only way around it I know of is to register for a Japanese address (there's enough demand that it's a web service available) and have your products shipped there, whereupon they send them to you. I haven't tried it, however. I'm fortunate to have relatives in Japan to whom I can send the occasional purchase.
